As the economic data was light yesterday, the focus was on FOMC policymakers’ comments about the QE outlook. Evans’ comments that the US economy has improved quite a lot have raised speculations that the Fed would taper QE measures earlier than expected. This has dampened market sentiment and sent stocks lower. Wall Street slipped with the DJIA and the S&P 500 indices losing -0.12% and -0.07% respectively.
